  • 3 lbs (48 oz) boneless skinless chicken breasts 
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 package frozen mixed vegetables 
  • 3 eggs 
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil

Honey Garlic Sauce  

  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 4 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp rice wine vinegar

These are staple ingredients you may already have in your house.
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1.5 Tsp onion powder
  • 1.5 Tsp garlic powder 
  • 1/2 Tsp black pepper 
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1/3 cup of water

Directions

  1. Dice chicken into cubes. Toss with onion powder, garlic powder, pepper and 3 Tbsp soy sauce. Mix and set aside.
  2. In a pan, cook frozen vegetables. Add eggs. Combine and scramble.
  3. Add cooked white rice.
  4. Add 1/3 cup soy sauce and sesame oil.
  5. Cook and set aside.
  6. Make honey garlic sauce. Combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, ketchup, white rice vinegar. Mix.
  7.  Cook chicken with honey garlic sauce on medium heat (4 minutes on each side) add corn starch with water.
  8.  Simmer on low for 5 minutes. Combine all together or enjoy sesame chicken on bed of fried rice!

Additional notes

Add sesame seeds and green onion for added flavor
